A tiny, wondrously atmospheric Thames-side pub in Limehouse that's been serving since 1583. Now owned by Sir Ian McKellen, who can occasionally be spotted behind the bar. The upstairs fish restaurant is excellent.
You might genuinely spot Gandalf — Ian McKellen owns the pub and does visit. The fish upstairs is superb.
